Home / Prototypes
Prototypes you can hold, test and fix fast.
From a rough sketch or a finished CAD file to a physical part on your desk. Test the fit, find the problems and print the next version, without paying for tooling.
Why prototype with 3D printing?
A screen can't tell you how something feels in your hand, whether a lid snaps shut or if a bracket clears the wall. A prototype can. 3D printing makes that cheap enough to do early and often.
- No molds or tooling. You pay for the part, not a setup that only makes sense at thousands of units.
- Change it as often as you need. Each round is just an edit to the design and another print.
- Real materials. Test in tough, heat-resistant or flexible plastics, not just a model.
- Catch problems before they cost real money. A wrong hole or a weak spot is a cheap fix now and an expensive one later.
What we prototype
- Product housings and enclosures
- Brackets, mounts and clamps
- Fit-check and form models
- Snap-fit, hinged and multi-part assemblies
- Jigs and fixtures for testing or production
- Pitch and trade show samples
No CAD file? No problem.
Many prototypes start as a sketch, a photo of something similar or just a description. We handle the 3D design, and you review it before anything prints. If you already have files, send STL, 3MF, STEP or OBJ.
How it works
- Tell us the idea. What it is, what it needs to do, rough size and anything it has to fit with.
- Get a quote. Price and timeline before any work starts.
- Design and print. We model it, print it and check the fit.
- Test and revise. Tell us what to change and we print the next round.
